About Toe Beans Pet Care
Bella grew up with various pets including cats, dogs, guinea pigs (22 at one point), hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, goldfish, budgerigars, one goat, two tortoises and... a giant spider that lived in the garden shed at the bottom of the garden (but no one believes me!). She has varied dog walking experience (both large and small breeds), as well as general pet caring involvement. She is currently owned by three mischievous but gorgeous cats called Fifi Malone, Harlequin and Pablo Pikitsso, whom she shares a home with in Lindfield, Sussex.

Music Therapy For Pets
Research based on science has proven that dogs and cats relax when they hear low, slow and soothing sounds; not unlike humans. The human ear hears up to 20,000 Hz, whereas dogs hear up to 45,000 Hz and cats up to 64,000 Hz. This means that dogs and cats can hear frequencies in a higher range that are not audible to humans.
The benefit of playing live music is that the frequency spectrum is wider and the vibrational energy more receptive to the listener, which includes animals. Certain genres of music can help reduce anxiety and stress, as well as lower the heart rate and respiratory system in both humans and animals. This can also be beneficial by alleviating certain agitated behavioural patterns, separation anxiety and in some cases help relieve chronic pain in animals.
Music therapy for your pets may be helpful for pre-vet appointments, post-surgery, kennel stays away from home and before long car journeys. It can also be of general assistance for highly strung, stressed, depressed or grumpy pets.

Feeding, fresh water and litter tray change (if required) with caressing, cuddles and company for up to four cats per household.
